Yoga and meditation Mountain, tree, triangle, chair. What do these words have in common? They are all yoga poses. Yoga, along with meditation, are becoming common practices in today’s stressful world. There are more and more studies that show the benefits of yoga and meditation for your body and mind. They are good habits that can help you feel better. Yoga comes from a Sanskrit word meaning “union of the body and mind”. It involves mental concentration and also physical movement and poses. It has many health benefits. It helps you to relax and it reduces stress by decreasing activity in the sympathetic nervous system. It increases flexibility, strengthens your muscles, and reduces your blood pressure. It can also help wit
